Cocina Club is about enjoying a variety of high quality MEALS made by Chef Rafa.

Our food service model is built on designing 1-2 weekly menus for a small and exclusive number of clients with particular focus placed on variety and seasonality. We want you to experience an array of different flavors, think of us as the middle ground between Whole Foods pre-made meals and having a private chef at home. We deliver the quality of private chef services without all of the customizations to keep prices more affordable. Just as you care about your family and health, we care about you, therefore we don’t use plastic containers so you can enjoy your food free of microplastics.

MEET CHEF RAFA

Hello, and thank you for stopping by to learn about my long-term relationship with food and culinary arts…

I graduated from JCCC’s Culinary Program in 2011 and spent the early years of my career as an apprentice in some of the best Country Clubs in Kansas City. I fell in love with the fast paced kitchen environment and found that working in country clubs allowed for extensive creativity and culinary variety.

Over the last decade, I served as Executive Chef at Saddle and Sirloin Club and Carriage Club, where I shared my love of food with many wonderful families.

Being a Club Chef gave me the opportunity to create food experiences tailored to many different occasions ranging from weddings, holiday brunches, and fine dining. No cuisine or request was off limits!

Some other career highlights include working at Mexique, a Mexican Michelin-star restaurant in Chicago, and now building my own small business.

I look forward to sharing my creativity and love of food with you through Cocina Club!
